Application Highlights: Clip-On Internal Grounding Application

The metal used to produce Omega Shielding Products fingerstock possesses exceptional spring and electrical properties, making them an excellent choice for internal grounding or electrical contact. In the application shown above, a clip-on gasket is used for grounding to the chassis of an electronic enclosure. Figure No. 1 shows how the part is mounted and reinforced through the us of retaining lances. Another component or cover will compress the gasket fingers, completing the connection.
