The unique design of this part provides a lead for ease of mounting (see figure 2) and can be installed into two different types of applications. It can be used to clip onto one surface and make contact with a mating surface that is perpendicular to the mounting surface (see figure 3), or it can make contact with a mating surface that is parallel to the mounting surface (see figure 4). If required, one part can perform both applications at the same time (see figure 5), providing for design flexibility. This part provides a substantial dynamic range and requires minimal compression force in either direction (see figure 1).
